Pet care experience
I've been around animals my whole life. Like my daughter (who loves to help with Rover) I had an inexplicable connection with all animals and I've always known working with animals in some capacity was my life's calling. I started with Rover years ago and quickly realized I had found the thing I loved and could make a living doing. It is my passion! I've never met a dog I didn't get along with and hope to add your dog(s) to my list of favorite house guests. 😊

Katie does a wonderful job taking care of your pets. Never had to worry once about my dog. Very positive energy towards my dog and could tell through the pictures she sent that he was happy and having a blast. 5 out of 5 stars would recommend Katie to anyone who wants their pet taking care of. Definitely going to use Katie again in the future.
Katie was great with Titan. She made sure to play with him and make him feel comfortable. I had no concerns and felt very comfortable with her stopping in the house while we were on a cruise. I would definitely recommend her and will use her for our next trip!
2nd time using her and we will forever book her as long as she’s available!!! We love the updates and photos and she cares so well for our pups.

I have a fully fenced and locked yard and do not leave any Rover dogs outside unattended. We do not use a doggy door for that reason. I ask for any specific instructions when leaving them with me or having me come to your home and I follow them to the letter. Whatever your dog's routine is at home, that's what it will be with me.

Anything that you would want me to know is what I want to know. Beyond that, your dog has to be ok with kids and other dogs. If your dog has a ever bit someone or another animal (only when UNPROVOKED), I wouldn't be interested in sitting. I need to know rules regarding treats (human food or otherwise), and any rules you would like enforced so they don't come home acting like they've been at grandma's for a week. I welcome snuggles and couch napping and would never kick a dog off the bed so if this isn't ok in your home just let me know and I will be sure to continue that rule when they're with me. I just want your pet and you to be comfortable so I am open to any special requests or needs.
A typical day
It depends on the dog, but I am up for anything! We have three young schnauzers that love to play all day and two kids that can and do entertain dogs for hours. If your dog loves walks, we are always happy to take them in the cool hours of the day.

Availability
Taking care of animals is my daily and weekly routine. Rarely do scheduling conflicts arise and if they do, my home is set up to safely leave any animals in my care.
