Pet care experience
I've taken care of a wide variety of dogs, and pets in general. I like long walks and playing to get their energy out. Dogs who I've cared for would recommend my tug-of-war skills and good pets. I can also work with your dog on walking well and not pulling on the leash.

I was a little nervous hiring someone on Rover who I didn’t know to house sit my three pups, but I am glad I trusted the reviews. Dogs were safe and happy and house looks just the way we left it. Will rebook!
Katie was great!
Katie took care of my two skittish cats on more than one occasion. One of them will use the front hall as his litter box if stressed. I guess he wasn’t too stressed. The other is an escape-artist. She did not get out nor stuck in a closet. Though they are difficult cats, all went well.
Katie is a really great pet/house sitter. They really love my dog and do a good job with my chickens. Katie will leave your home like no one was even there. I truly appreciate Katie and they are always the first person I ask when I am planning to be away!

A typical day
I try to stick as closely as possible to your dog's normal routine so that they experience less stress when you are away. I usually take care of food and play or go on a short walk in the morning, and then I go to the office for a few hours. When I am done about 1pm, I return home and like to do a bigger walk or play in the early afternoon, and then some chill time with plenty of pets before dinner.

Availability
I work in an office in the mornings and am available most weekdays after 1pm, as well as early mornings. For dog/cat sits, I need to be able to leave the house for at least 4 hrs at a time, but can typically spend the afternoon with the pet and take a long walk.
