Hi, my name's Katie. I have 4 kids, 12, 7, 2 and a 4 year old fur kid. We LOVE dogs! We have a boxer/shar-pei mix named Titus who we adopted in August 2018. He is very excited to have fur friends to hang out and play with. Your dog must love other dogs AND kids! I am currently a stay at home mom so your fur-baby would never be home alone for long periods of time (maximum of 3 hours). My 12 year old son plays junior high volleyball and my 7 year old daughter is in gymnastics. A typical day in our house is up at 6-6:30 am let Titus out, feed and water him, get the kids up and ready for school. After the bus picks up the kids we take a 30 minute walk. We return home to fresh water and a treat. Titus usually lays around till noon then its time to go out again. Titus takes another nap until its time to go to the bus stop and welcome the kids home after school (his favorite time of day). We do homework and have a snack with Titus at our feet under the kitchen table. Pick up my son from volleyball and if weather permits we head to the dog park and throw a ball for Titus. Home for dinner and go on our after dinner walk (20-30 minutes). Get the kids showered and ready for bed (Titus lays on the bathroom rug). Bed between 8-9 pm for the kids, then its TV and snuggle time for Titus and I. He goes out again and head off to bed around 10-11 pm. Titus sleeps in his bed in my son's room unless there's a storm then he's at the foot of my bed. Titus is part of everything we do and is included in everything he's allowed to be included in. Your fur-baby will be treated like my own fur-baby. Your fur-baby will be loved, cuddled and played with while you are away. I will only allow 1 fur-friend a time to ensure everyone is getting the attention they need. I've been a pet lover forever and have had dogs for the last 18 years. My parents have a blind dog and a diabetic deaf dog so I am capable of caring for special needs fur-friends as well. I am able to give medication orally or in the form of needle if needed.
