About me: I am an animal lover who stays home full time with my 2 and 4 year old boys. We have a female boxer that loves other animals but doesn't currently have a playmate. I also have experience with senior, and special needs dogs. One of my dogs had unpredictable seizures, and another had a condition called Megaesophagus which means he needed to be fed in a special way and then "held up" vertically afterward. I am comfortable giving dogs medicine with detailed instructions, and am very reliable as I know how important medications can be. I know how hard it is to leave your pets, let me help make it easier! We will take daily walks (as long as the weather is ok) and I will be sure to make your dog as comfortable as can be! What makes me different: I will adopt the way you interact with your doggy. Don't feed them after 7? Don't want them on the furniture? They need specific meds at specific times? They like to sleep with you? I've got it covered. Not only will I mimic you, which seems to help dogs feel more at ease, I will embrace their quirks. They like their food prepared a certain way? They want under the covers with you? Done! The number one reason I think I'm a great pet sitter is I will send you lots of pictures and videos so you can see what a great time your dog is having. I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog behind - they are a part of your family! My goal is to make it easier for you. I have no problem watching puppies, but I do require that your dog is completely potty trained. I have lots of dogs coming in, and they're more likely to have accidents if they smell other pet stains. Sometimes even pets who never have accidents at home have accidents in a new environment. I am understanding to this, but after the first accident I charge $10/accident. If your dog continues to have accidents I won’t take him or her in again. This is because I am constantly available to let the dog out—accidents are typically behavioral based and it isn’t personal, it’s just to protect my home.
