Pet care experience
I've always had a dog growing up. I worked for a dog groomer for 3 years during college and have taken care of my own dogs ever since. I've walked my neighbors dog for over a year and baby sat and hosted play dates with another neighbor dog for over a year before my husband and I moved to Florida. We often watch my in-laws doodle dog while they go on vacation. Recently we just lost our 3yr old pup to cancer and while my husband, my son and I are not fully ready to have another dog of our own, I would LOVE to be able to care for others and help other families. The companionship is like no other. We are such dog people, they truly are family and are treated that way.

Katie was amazing! Very knowledgeable and knew all the questions to ask before I could even think about it. Mojo absolutely loved staying with Katie and her baby. He already misses them and can’t wait for another sleepover.
Katie is the best! Our dog was treated like family with plenty of outside play and couch time. She sent updates, pictures and videos . Would highly recommend!!
Home is clean and prepared for doggy visitation! Katie and her family are down to earth good. I was confident the entire time with Mac in their hands and when I got my boy back, he was happy !
Tucker was happy and well taken care of the day he stayed with Katie's family. We did a meet 'n' greet the day before and he was so comfortable with their place, and we were so grateful for their questions about what would keep him safe and comfortable, that we'd gladly have him stay there again if the need arises.

i work from home and take care of my son. we go on 2 walks daily during afternoon and evening. we play outside in the backyard. we can play fetch as long as weather permits. i can teach basic commands like sit and paw with treats
