Previously I was dog sitting via Rover and Dogvacay for almost ten years - but now that I have decided to adopt a kitty I am moving my services over to house sitting, home visits and dog walks. I have tons of experience with all kinds of breeds of dogs - from small to large and all kinds of personalities. Let me know your style and happy to match it! I equally love cats and have had several kitty companions through out my life.

Katie was awesome! She saved me last minute when I needed a 3 day/2 night stay. She gave lots of updates and pictures which I really appreciated and I know Hana had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend Katie!
Katie is a skilled dog minder and I have relied on her a lot for about four months. We had a litter of Husky X puppies and Katie came to help when the two remaining puppies were about 9-10 weeks old. Her expertise with housetraining, and many other aspects of training was a godsend. Since then she has been helping with dog sitting when I have to be away and at work. We trust her implicitly in the home and with our pups. The dogs adore her and are very excited to see her everytime she comes. I can't say enough about her and highly recommend her care!

A typical day
If you're near trout lake, that would be my go to for walks. Otherwise, I will ask about your specific routines and try to create consistency with the pet. I want to know where you normally walk, the routes, the stops, how long and how your pup interacts with other people and animals along the way. I want to make sure your pet is safe, comfortable and having fun while we hang out.

Availability
I work from home, so it is very easy for me to pop out between meetings during the day to do visits or walks. I am very flexible, just share you needs with me and I will do my best to accommodate you! Happy to discuss short and long term house sitting opportunities. I do have my cat Nori at home, so I typically operate within a 1km radius so that I am able to ensure that I can also give her the love and attention she needs. From time to time I may need to go out to run errands, etc so pets that can be left for 5 hours or more at a time are probably best suited.
