Pet care experience
I have lived with and cared for dogs of all temperaments and sizes for over 20 years. Nothing brings out my true spirit more than interacting with dogs. My home is on a quiet one-way street in Cleveland's Detroit Shoreway neighborhood, one block from a community orchard and one mile from Edgewater Park. I don't currently have any pets for the first time since I was a a small child and my heart has lots of space for your furry family member. Whether it's sitting, walking or long hikes, I'm ready to give your pet my full energy. My boyfriend helps me care for the pups mid-day, as his business is just few blocks from our home. We have loved making new Rover friends over the years!

I 100% highly recommend that you hire Katie to take care of your dog or pup! Katie and I were roommates for one year. I had a Great Dane named Navi, who was a super loving pup, but was huge, so could be sometimes a lot to handle! Katie went above and beyond helping me with Navi. If I ever needed food put down, to let her outside when I was not able to get home, Katie always was able to help. She would take great care of her when I went out of town making sure she got to expend some energy on walks or playing outside. I would come home often and find that she was snuggling with her on the couch or she even invited her to lay with her in her bed. I Katie made Navi feel so loved! Katie is a super loving, kind and caring individual and is a huge animal lover! I can assure you that your pet will be in the best of hands!
Katie's love for dogs comes naturally and shows through in her interactions with them including my own 10-year-old rescue boxer/shepherd mix. My dog has struggled with anxiety and high energy behavior and Katie uses time and walks with Elka to not just give her exercise but to also reinforce her training. Her calm and easy approach carries over to Elka's own attitude. It goes without saying that's she's stellar with humans as well. Katie is warm, friendly, kind, and dependable--both in scheduled situations and ones that rise up unexpectedly.
