Pet care experience
I grew up with all kinds of animals - everything from dogs and cats to lizards and ducks. I’ve always been an animal lover! In high school I pet sitter for local families, both dogs and cats. I provided basic care, walking, and even administered pills to several cats. More recently I have cared for a cat of my own and have built relationships with several dogs owned by roommates. I even assisted a friend with in-home dog sitting for puppies all the way up to elderly canines!

Katie is awesome! She has been extremely reliable and obviously loves animals. Recently she stayed at my house for 2 weeks taking care of my dog. She left everything in the house in good order, and my dog seemed calmer than usual after I've been away. I can't recommend her enough, if you are fortunate enough to become a client of hers.

Currently I cannot host dogs in my home as my living situation does not allow it! I know there are many beautiful places in this neighborhood as well as some nice dog parks nearby. I hope to eventually be able to host!

I like to know if they have any issues with aggression or any specific training or behavioral issues. I appreciate knowing of any special rules you have for them (like not being on the couch or no jumping) so I can be consistent with their boundaries. I also love to know anything that makes your dog unique! Do they have a favorite toy? A spot they love scratched? I want to give them individualized care!
A typical day
Love to take pups on walks in their neighborhood, to a nearby dog park, or even further afield if it’s okayed. I love playing fetch and tug o’ war or just snuggling on the couch!

Availability
I am currently working on my Doctorate or Psychology at George Fox, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Other than classes on weekdays, I can often make my schedule work with yours! Currently Wednesdays and Thursdays are my busiest days and Mondays and Tuesdays are most free.
