Pet care experience
My name is Katie and I am 19 years ago. I am currently a college student trying to build my network. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved all dogs. I used to dog sit my cousin’s Yorkie while she was at work and when she went on vacation. I was required to feed it twice a day and bathe it once a week. I walked it twice a day and let it out in my yard to play. Also, I have taught the yorkie a few tricks when he was a puppy such as walking up and down the stairs as a puppy. In addition to these skills, I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I have walked my neighbors’ German Shepard and beagle mix. I also recently got a pet husky.

Katie is a loving dog mom taking care of a husky and very responsible. She loves dogs and it shows whenever we go out she loves talking to other dog parents and talking about her husky.
The sweetest most enthusiastic person I know, she loves her own dog so so much and spoils him rotten, I trust her to watch over my own cat babies because I know she would give them the same level of care as her own pets.
Katie has been taking care of her husky for over a year and a half. Huskies are destructive and requires a lot of training. She is super patient in training him. She takes him outside daily to get his required amount of exercise and it is obvious she loves him. I would trust Katie with my dog.

I have a fenced backyard and a male husky that is 8 months old. He is not neutered yet. Typically, I allow my dog to run away the house freely.

Let me know if your dog is scared of a husky or big dogs. I personally have a husky at home and he is super friendly with all dogs & sizes. Also please let me know if your dog is allergic to anything outside because I like bringing my dog to run in my backyard.
A typical day
I love playing fetch and chasing my dog. He enjoys the adrenaline of “the chase”. In addition I bring him to Ocean Parkway so he can admire the scenery and possibly bump into another dog.

Typically, Monday through Thursday I have one class a day. On Monday my class is virtual. I only go on campus for about an hour and head back home. Since it’s the summer, I am more free and my schedule is more flexible. I work remotely throughout the week so I can step away and walk my dog.
