Pet care experience
I have had pets all of my life - dogs, cats, turtles, chinchillas, and hamsters. I had a Bernese Mountain Dog named Meghan who passed away when I was in college, and we have not had the heart to replace her. I have a cat named Kole - he enjoys being the center of attention and loves to get into things he is not supposed to be in. Additionally, I take care of my friend's two pit bulls (who live in an apartment in D.C. - have to take them out in the elevator and into the busy city streets) when they go out of town - one is very high energy and one is very anxious.

Katie has watched my dog, Charlie, on multiple occasions and I can honestly say she’s one of the only people I feel fully comfortable taking care of my fur baby. She’s responsible with locking up my home, my dog absolutely loves her, I fully trust her to care for my dog properly! She’s an amazing and loving pet caregiver & I highly recommend her!
Katie was perfect for our 13 yr old goldendoodle and his new 5 month old sister. Sweet, patient and confident and we would definitely call on her again.
Katie would be a great caretaker for your pets! She is a responsible individual who grew up with cats and dogs in her household and has always cared for and loved my cats when she visits. She has been trusted by friends for year to watch their animals when they are out of town so she has lots of experience and would give your pet the care, love, and attention that they need and deserve.
Katie has watched my dog multiple times without incident! She listens to every instruction I have left for her and provides updates. My dog is so so happy to see her and sometimes I think she likes her more than me! Highly recommend her

Availability
I currently work from home, so I am able to fit pet sitting into my daily routine quite easily! This would be a side gig for me - because I love spending time with animals - remote work can be lonely at times. Additionally it gives me an excuse to get out of the house, and get some exercise.
