We don't shy away from your non "perfect" dogs! Do you have high energy dogs that may need a little more effort put in than just opening and closing a door for potty time and dumping out some kibble for feeding? Then you need us! We've fostered dozens of German Shepherds, and some of them needed a little extra attention! We've done crate and rotate for dogs. I'm not home full time but do have a flexible schedule and am able to work from home on occasion. My boyfriend (Brendan) lives with me and LOVES snuggling the pups and helps immensely with their care while they are here! We've worked with balanced trainers and positive reinforcement trainers alike so we're well versed in whatever type of training you have decided to follow for your pet! - No dog is left in the yard or tie out alone. - All poo is cleaned up immediately. This is the number one way diseases are passed from pet to pet, so to help eliminate the potential for Fido getting sick we clean up after all our dogs immediately! - Dogs dine separately and are supervised to avoid conflict. All playtime is supervised! We keep toys out of the mix with multiple dogs to avoid object possessiveness until we see how the dogs react to one another. - Boarded dogs aren't immediately thrown into the mix with my pack. We crate and rotate, have baby gates in place (and not the wimpy pressure mounted ones!), and do pack walks to acclimate dogs. Let's face it, not all dogs get along! And it's important for you to know your pet is safe while they are in my home. - If you have a dog "selective" dog, give us a try! Although we do have dogs we have the ability to give Fido some privacy and one-on-one people time! If you want someone you can trust with your pets but know they're not traditional boarding facility material, give us a try!
