Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Katie, I work from home as a remote scheduler for a Veterinary office and currently obtaining my Veterinary Technology degree online! I am CPR and First Aid certified through Red Cross. I have a big backyard for your pup to play in! Animals have always been the biggest aspect of my life. I have been pet sitting for a couple years now, recently deciding to hop on Rover to expand. Pet sitting is the best part of my life, learning all the different personalities, and taking care of animals is what I’m most passionate about. Katie was outstanding! We went out of town for 1.5 weeks and she visited our cat twice a day. He is older and is a bit complicated when it comes down to food but Katie was super understanding. She often tried to play with him (even when he was being lazy), washed his plates, gave him fresh water all while very kindly watering our plants. She is even cleaned up a bit before we came home! We are so grateful for her support while we were out of town!
Katie was great!!! She was super accommodating and watched my dog for about 11 days who isn’t dog friendly and typically doesn’t like men. I was super impressed that she has her home prepared to take care of dogs. I felt assured when I saw that she had a full door sized gate at the top of her stairs so that her dog and my dog are safely separated. I got pictures often to see how he was doing. My dog is a cuddle bug in which he got plenty of cuddles with Katie. I will totally reach out to her again. Thanks again Katie!
Katie was the perfect sitter for our 6 month old puppy Charlie. She communicated well and had a tidy house that was well setup for dogs including a fenced backyard where our dog could run around and play with her dog. I highly recommend her!
Katie was amazing. I have 2 cats and one is outgoing and friendly, the other is shy and reserved but he warmed up to Katie very quickly!!! I felt so much better being away and knowing Katie was taking care of my boys and loved the pictures she sent after each visit. I’ve already rebooked her for my next trip!!
