Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Katie, I work from home as a remote scheduler for a Veterinary office and currently obtaining my Veterinary Technology degree online! I am CPR and First Aid certified through Red Cross. I have a big backyard for your pup to play in! Animals have always been the biggest aspect of my life. I have been pet sitting for a couple years now, recently deciding to hop on Rover to expand. Pet sitting is the best part of my life, learning all the different personalities, and taking care of animals is what I’m most passionate about. Katie took wonderful care of our dog while we were away and sent us updates/pictures during his stay. We were at ease knowing he was in great care and he can’t wait till his next visit.
Katie stayed with my Gus for the first time for a long weekend in my home. She and Gus got along famously, and she sent me many pictures while I was away. Katie was outstanding! We went out of town for 1.5 weeks and she visited our cat twice a day. He is older and is a bit complicated when it comes down to food but Katie was super understanding. She often tried to play with him (even when he was being lazy), washed his plates, gave him fresh water all while very kindly watering our plants. She is even cleaned up a bit before we came home! We are so grateful for her support while we were out of town!

I have a dog friendly dog. I have kennels by request only. I do have my upstairs and downstairs sectioned off if for any reason your pet needed to be separated from others. I have experience administering medication. And I have a beautiful privacy fenced in yard.
