Pet care experience
My experience caring for pets has spanned over the past eight years. I have experience caring for my own dog as well as watching my neighbors' animals in many settings. My dog is a small rescue with separation anxiety and health issues, and through her I've learned how to administer oral medicines, tend to health issues, and nurture nervous doggies. Additionally, while living in New York City in the spring of 2017, I worked as a dog walker for Wag! walking, feeding, and caring for dogs. I have also worked as a full-time child caregiver for the past four summers, and as a part-time after school caregiver for multiple families. In each of these homes I had the responsibility of caring for dogs in addition to children. I love pets- dogs especially- and I would be elated to have the opportunity to care for them!

Katie has watched my pets (1 dog and 2 cats) for extended periods of time. She is very caring and conscientious about doing everything as instructed. Katie is also very dependable and has always been there when we needed her including last minute requests. I always know that my loved ones are in good hands when Katie is with them and never have to worry.
Katie has watched our dog (lovable 6 year old Border Collie/Golden) in our house while on vacation, providing Sam with a stress free event. He loves when Katie takes him on long walks and cuddles with him. We use Katie to watch both our children and dog during the summertime for the past 4 years. She is extremely reliable and when given an arrival time, she will be a few minutes early to ensure she is there. We highly recommend Katie as a pet sitter.
Katie is great with all kinds of dogs. She has watched my three pitbulls for almost 4 years, and really knows what she's doing. Even the dogs can sense her caring, smiley, positive attitude, they love her so much. It's hard to find people who aren't intimidated by the word "three pitbulls"in the world of dog sitting but Katie shows and gives nothing but love to my babies! My dogs love her so much they hate saying goodbye.
