Hello! I am a Tennessee transplant who has lived in the city for 5 years. I have ten years of pet sitting and dog walking experience. During my time in the city I have made a name for myself as “the Fairy DogWalker,” amassing 7 core(daily or multiple walks a week) clients and 16 dogs I see at least a few times a month. I have experience taking care of dogs with ages ranging seven months to 15 years and a variety of breeds. I feel an empathetic connection with every dog I meet. I also work with cats, and most recently helped a friend foster three rescue kittens. It is important to me that any pet I am taking care of feels loved, safe, and receives my undecided attention when I am with them. It is also important to me that the pet-parent feels comfortable entrusting me with their fur baby. My goal is to always leave a pet happier than before I was with them. Katie did an amazing job watching over our two cavapoos, Larry and Luna. She was communicative, sent great pictures and totally made us feel at ease as we were away from them for over a week and Katie stayed at our place. We will absolutely re-book Katie in the future and highly recommend her - we couldn't be happier with her!
Katie was a lovely fur-baby-sitter! She text me updates along with pictures, and was super understanding about the summertime shedding situation! When I returned from my trip, my dogs seemed very nonchalant and didn’t seem to have missed me at all, which is a great testament to Katie’s care!
I have two Yorkies, one of which has terrible separation anxiety. I knew that Katie had taken good care of my pups when I came home from a week long trip and my dog was not anxious or upset. Usually he will want my immediate attention when I walk through the door...crying out for me, shaking and acting very nervous in general. Instead he was calm, happy and very relaxed; a very unexpected but welcomed reaction as this is what I had hoped for upon my return! My other pup was happy also, even bringing me his toy to play his favorite game of fetch. I've had many people watch my pups over the years, but having Katie stay at my home proved to be the best situation for both me and my dogs. I would highly recommend Katie for dog sitting! I am confident my pups would say the same if they could ;)

A typical day
My UWS pups enjoy outings to Central And Riverside Parks. I have a client in Battery Park who loves exploring downtown and people watching by the water. If your dog has a vast collection of squeaky toys and stuffies, we will be on the floor playing to their heart’s content! Have an senior dog who prefers the apartment to the outdoors? We will have a wonderful time snuggling, making sure they get as much love and attention that they need.
