I have been a dog and cat lover my whole life (grew up with Boston Terriers and Yorkies as well as one beloved cat) and have been a trusted pet sitter and dog walker for 3 years! I started walking classmates’ dogs in graduate school, and often have friends’ dogs stay with me while they are on vacation. I also take care of friends cats at their own homes (drop in) when the humans are away! I know a lot of the dogs in my neighborhood because I always say hello to them on my walks. Pets are such special creatures and bring me such joy! Sadly, apart from friends’ dogs and clients, I am only walking with humans right now because my sweet 13 year old Yorkie recently passed away. She had a kidney disease that she was on oral medication for, so I am comfortable following directions to give dogs medications and specific feeding directions as well. I love playing fetch, going for walks around the lakes and neighborhoods of Minneapolis, and teaching dogs new tricks! My house does not have a fenced-in yard, but we do have a stake with a very long leash for dogs to run around and play on (supervised). I have had small dogs my whole life but absolutely adore big dogs (and hope to have one of my own someday). I’m excited to meet more animals and their humans!
