I trained as a veterinary technician in college. Owned dogs all my life. Worked at a doggy day care (the best job I ever had).. We (3 kids and husband included) all love dogs and are gentle and patient. We have a playful black lab who is wonderful with other dogs and would love to have someone to play with in our backyard.

As a rover sitter, I’m picky who cares for my Eevee. When my last sitter retired, I was hesitation on looking for someone new. But Katie and her family were fabulous! They were patient and kind to my Eevee. She had so much fun over there she came home and fell asleep.
Katie and her family took such great care of Sage! She sent us pictures and kept us updated. Thank you for making it a good experience for us!
We really appreciated all the love and care Katie gave our senior dog. She was very attentive to her needs and moods and kept a close eye on her. Her dog is very sweet and got along so well with our dog. I loved that Katie gave us daily updates and pictures or videos. She loved and cared for our dog as her own.

Our house is very dog friendly. I have a designated doggy room in my home that provides a quiet place to sleep, eat or just take a break, if that’s something they like. We also have doggy doors which only lead to the enclosed backyard so pups are able to come in and out of the house as much as they want, without any danger of them going out the front door. Though I’m happy to let them out myself if they aren’t comfortable with doggy doors. I have a large backyard with lots of room to run and an outdoor covered patio area for shade. I always keep water outside. While in the house they typically hang out with me, my dog Tank, play with toys and lounge. I enjoy evening walks with Tank and would love to bring your pup with us if that is something they enjoy, if not that’s totally fine too. I can follow any food, water or medicine schedule provided. I provide daily pictures and updates during their stay. Of course as the owner, you are welcome to reach out to me as frequently as you would like with questions or just to check in and see how your pup is doing! I know leaving your dog in the hands of another person can be nerve racking! My goal is to let you have a stress free time away knowing your pup is in good hands.

Please let me know about any special care instructions. I cater to each dog‘s individual needs and do my best to make it a successful visit for everyone involved. I also make sure that every potential boarder is dog and kid friendly before they come and stay with us. I only accept dogs from one family at a time because I believe that is safer all around. Because we have a designated space for the dogs, I do ask that those staying with us overnight sleep in a crate or in our doggy room with the door closed so that there aren’t any middle of the night shenanigans haha. If you have any particular concerns please don’t hesitate to ask any questions!
A typical day
I take evening walks with my dog Tank and your dog would come along with us. We walk the nature trail by my house and go throughout the neighborhood. I have found that it helps everyone wind down for the day.
