I am a college student who doesn't get to regularly see my dogs at my parents house. Throughout my life, I have cared for my family's dogs, taking them on walks, feeding them, cleaning up after them, etc. Durning high school, I took care of other people's dogs while they were away and also walked dogs for family friends. I have even done long term (three weeks) pet sitting where I take care of the house and dog. I know how to orally give pills to dogs, learning all the tricks along the way (stuffing the pill in peanut butter or cheese, placing it down the dogs throat then gently stroking the throat to help with swallowing and keeping the pill down, and of course some dogs will just gobble the pills up with their food). I've had one of my dogs for most of my life (15 years) and seen her grow up and been able to take care of her through all the stages of her life, young, wild, and old. The most recent addition to the family is one energetic dog. He had to take puppy classes and I accompanied him to all his classes and helped/learned how to properly train and handle him. Dogs are truly my passion and I will make sure to take care of your best friend like they were mine.
