My husband and I have had dogs our entire lives. I have had 3-4 dogs in my house since I was born, and we have cared for our dogs for the past 12 years. Our lives revolve around our pups, and we walk, hike, play, and nap with our dogs all the time. My husband is known as a "dog whisperer" and makes even the most skittish pups feel loved and calm. Together we have extra lap room and the expertise to keep your pet safe, loved, and entertained.

Katie and Michael were great. We normally don’t leave our yorkie with anyone. But Katie and Mike were excellent with our doggy. We received daily updates and pictures.I would definitely book them again!!

We have one female dog (one standard Goldendoodle named Abby, who is 4) who has three (and sometimes more if she gives us puppy dog eyes) walks daily, playtime with us inside and outside, and two meals a day. We have a fenced backyard that has plenty of space for potty breaks throughout the day and at night. On weekends, we take the dogs on hikes to get out their energy and socialize with other dogs they meet. Dogs are welcome on furniture in our home, and our dogs typically sleep in our bed, one of their beds, or choose to curl up in their crates at night. Our dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, take monthly heartworm/flea/tick medication, and have a nearby vet. Our home is 7-10 minutes from 4 vet clinics and 20 minutes from a 24-hour emergency animal hospital.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs that we can attend to. We can accommodate most requests but have one small dog in our house already and won't be able to accept dogs with a history of problems with small dogs.
A typical day
We love to take pups on hikes, swim, play frisbee, and do other outdoor high-energy activities. We also play with toys in the house and have quiet time for napping and recovering from all of the fun!

Availability
My husband works from home and takes our dogs on walks in the morning, at noon, and at 5 pm. In between, one of us lets the dogs out for potty breaks in our fenced backyard as needed. I am a Ph.D. student and work from home most days and am on campus in Clemson on others. Together, we always have someone at home, except for dates or social events once or twice a week in the evenings. Other pets will fit easily into our dog's routine.
