Pet care experience
My love for animals started at a young age right at home with own pets. Growing up I had a rescue senior dog & two previously stray cats. Once I was old enough to drive I was able to start bringing home my own rescues. Two brother cats rescued from a Michigan winter. Caring for these animals become my passion and priority. Present day, I am 24 years old living in my own home peacefully with my two dogs. Louis, a 6 year old red heeler pit bull mix. The sweetest boy I have had the pleasure of caring for. Moose, a 2 year old blue heeler, the craziest baby I know. With these two everyday is an adventure. My whole life has been about caring for animals. To highlight, some of my skills include training simple commands, senior and/or traumatized animal experience, medication administration, and I am able to keep up with high energy animals.

Picking Katie to care for your dogs is always the best decision. She’s grown up with dogs her whole life and has two rowdy heelers she treats like angels. Very caring , genuine and a great leader. The dogs are sure to love her.

In my home, my dogs are my babies. That being said once your pet is with me, they will be treated like family. I use a gentle parenting approach with my puppies but will absolutely follow your parenting style as much as possible. Animals are allowed on the furniture and in the bed, as long as they arn’t covered in dirt or wet. I let your pet out as much as they request but at the minimum once every hour or two. As much outside time as your animal needs. Including running in a field, going on a walk or two, playing fetch, etc.

Let me know if your pet has any dietary restrictions, physical restrictions, or general preferences! If your dog barks in your face when he has to go to the bathroom, let me know! If your cat touches your hand repeatedly because their hungry, let me know! I love to know the little habits your animals have become accustomed to!
A typical day
A typical day includes my dog waking me up pretty early in the morning. They go potty and then they get breakfast at 9am. We normally relax for a bit after that and then they like to get right into playing for the day. For the entire day. Definetly get a couple walks in while the sun is out. If not we still like to go play in the rain or snow. We take hikes, enjoy pup cups, run around a lot, & go swimming. Believe it or not my baby loves the bath after getting super dirty for the day. And then we eat dinner at 9pm, play some more, and then relax again before bed. Relax as much as we can having 2 high energy heelers.

I currently work for a country club, that being said living in Michigan calls for an off season. I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your baby!
