I’ve had dogs since I was a child, and spent the past 4 years looking after friends and neighbours’ dogs, both for weekend stays, longer holidays, day-care and drop in visits. I also have my own 1.5 year old cockapoo, my pride and joy! I think I strike a good balance between fun and strict dog mom - taking lots of care to training my current pooch from a young age.

An utterly lovely person whose pup is equally as lovely and welcoming. Milo came back in perfect shape and tired, a clear sign he had the best time. I got a good amount of updates throughout the his stay too. I felt totally safe leaving Milo at their house and will definitely will see if Katie is available next time we need a sitter.
Reggie had the best time staying with Katie and Gilbert. Thank you so much for having him. Reggie is missing being chased by Gilbert.

Usually the pups would be inside during the day. We have a large space inside for them to play and relax. I also have a fenced garden and a very friendly cockapoo to keep your pooch company. I am a very hands on care giver, so will ensure your pooch gets the love, exercise and attention they deserve.

A typical day
I love spending time with my dogs. Usually this consists of up to two walks a day, depending on their needs. Plenty of playing during the day, and cuddling or space when they need to relax. I have a lot of experience in raising my own dog, and care for many friends and neighbours dogs.

Availability
I work from home, and therefore have the time to spend looking after your pooch during the week, or for longer boarding over weekends. My husband is also my right hand when it comes to our doggy care, and supports the walks and general care. We are an outdoors and active couple, which would ensure your dog gets out and about and lots of stimulation. We would need a few days warning to ensure we are plan around expected care.
