Katie is the first person (besides my parents) whom I ever asked to take care of my dog, Paris -- and I've had her for 7 years. Katie is so loving and gentle with animals, so I knew my little, confused pup would be in a good place. Katie made sure to make Paris feel at home. Even when Paris developed some stomach issues and had diarrhea all over Katie's place, Katie's only concern was that something might be wrong with my dog. Now, I have another dog who is bigger and older than Paris, and Katie watches both of them without any trouble. Oh, and guess what. Her boyfriend, Christian, is amazingly sweet with animals, too. He's even carried Gracie, my bigger (45-lb) dog, up and down their 2 flights of stairs, because she has arthritis in her back legs and has trouble with them sometimes. Katie's cats are even nice, and her dog, Harvey, is a lovable, totally harmless, goofy guy. Paris, a mini dachshund, and Gracie both kind of push him around sometimes -- they sleep in his bed and eat his food. He just watches and looks a little confused, but is never, ever aggressive. I would definitely trust Katie to watch my dogs in my house, too, which might end up being the case as Paris and Gracie get older. Bottom line: I highly recommend Katie.
