I have a degree in Animal Science. I’ve taken care of animals most of my life. I have experience with mostly small breed domestic animals (including neonatal kittens) and poultry.

Katie has loved animals all of her life. When she was young, she had a pet rabbit for which she had total responsibility. When she reached her teenage years, she had up to 17 chickens. She had names for each one and could tell which was which. During that sam period, she was responsible for the family pet dog, Daisy. Katie is now going on for a degree in animal husbandry with an eventual goal of becoming a Veterinarian. She has cared for our dog Budhi and we are very pleased with her abilities and responsibility. We would definitely recommend her for dog walking or dog sitting.

A typical day
I love walking on the lakefront and going to the local state parks. I currently do this weekly with shelter dogs. When it gets really hot, I will run dogs through the splash pad on the lakefront or have them jump into the lake.

I am currently working part time, so I’m available most weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible although I do travel often and sometimes pick up full shifts at my job.
