My name is Katie, I have been pet sitting for family friends for years now and have been on Rover for almost five years now with many repeat and happy clients! I make my own work schedule so that I can work around your pets tailored needs. I’m also open to any type of animal, not just dogs and cats! I also have experience in training dogs, have trained all 3 of my dogs as well as a family friends dog many tricks. I worked at Petsmart as the Pet Care Lead for a year and love nothing more than being surrounded by animals of all kinds! I have administered medications to my own dogs before, including injections for my moms epileptic pit bull. My passion for animals is incredible, and anyone who knows me would go on and on about that!

Katie did a wonderful job with our dogs. She sent us updates and pictures everyday to let us know how they were doing. Next time we are out of town, we will hopefully be able to get katie again to watch our boys.
Katie did such an amazing job taking care of our boys while we were on vacation. She sent frequent updates which kept me at peace. Our boys are known to fight on occasion but with Katie there was no issues whatsoever and she reassured me that if there were, she’d know exactly how to handle it, and was not worried about it. When we came home from vacation our dogs were happy and not even mad that we left them behind.
Katie is amazing! This is my first time using Rover and I was a little hesitant. Katie eased my worries and took great care of my dogs. She sent me daily updates, pictures, and videos. I could tell that she really cared about my dogs. They seemed happy when I returned and my house was in great shape. I will definitely be using Katie again!
We have 4 large dogs (over 400lbs). One is old and deaf, one is a giant breed puppy, one is relatively normal, and one usually hates the rest (as in will try to kill them). They are a handful to say the least. Katie is a dog whisperer for sure. She keeps our dogs alive AND happy. She’s done everything from just dropping by to let the puppy potty to staying an entire week while we were out of the country. Our dogs love her and yours will, too!

I can crate dogs while gone, I also do not take my eyes off dogs even in fenced in back yards. No matter how used to being outside they are, eyes are always on them or they are leashed at all times.

I have no breed preferences, i adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. All I like knowing is if they have any medical issues, anxiety issues, or any aggression. None of these will turn me away, but I just like knowing ahead of time.
A typical day
I can simply walk your dog around your neighborhood, or take them to parks! I prefer taking my dogs to the Tybee Island Dog Park, as it is less populated and a lesser risk of accidents with other dogs, but it still allows your pup to run and play in a wide area!
