Growing up on a ranch out in the country, I've always been happiest around animals. But it wasn't until about 10 or so years ago, when I had a dog of my own that I really became the self proclaimed dog mom I am today. As soon as I found my little girl, I knew we would be in it together. Through training, illnesses, surgeries, travel, moves, and boyfriends - I've learned so much being her mom. It started in the beginning, when I found it was good to be diligent with her training lessons - something that carried over to other dogs I have met and helped out with. When she was growing up in her early years, I learned to approach all dogs with love and openness - something I believe they can sense, and respond to. Through her, I quickly found my love of taking walks or going on hike with a dog. I realized that no matter what I was doing, it was always made better by having her with with me - especially when it came to outdoor activities, and even more so, traveling. She and I have been to 2 countries, and 9 states together, so I have extensive knowledge in caring for a dog in all sorts of situations. She helped teach me all I know and love about dogs, and I can't wait to be able to share that with you and your pup.
