Pet care experience
I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family behind when you travel. My goal is to provide you with a sense of calm knowing that your pets are being cared for by someone who has spent her whole life around cats. I currently have 4 cats, and I'm always ready to meet more! I've spent the last dozen years volunteering with local rescue organizations, and I spend my spare time volunteering with Project Meow in West Philadelphia. I have significant experience with medicating cats from both my volunteer experience and having senior cats with health issues.

Katie does an amazing job everytime! She really goes above and beyond, her notes are super detailed and they're just about the best way to start my day when I'm out of town. She did a great job giving medicine to my cat, grabbed my mail/packages, made sure nothing was out of order while I was gone, gave my cats tons of play time and cuddles, and just in general game me peice of mind. My cats and I are lucky to have her ❤️
Katie is fantastic! She took excellent care of our cat Sugar while we were away - she sent a set of pictures for each visit and wrote up a lovely (and funny) report on Sugar’s behavior. We were completely assured Sugar was in good hands, and we’ll definitely be booking with Katie anytime we’re away in the future.
Katie was great! I had to plan a last minute trip and needed someone to watch my cat Patches without too much planning. We unfortunately didn't have time to meet first and get Patches to know her beforehand. Katie was understanding and super responsive to texts. She was amazing and very detailed with her updates that I had no worries about Patches being well-cared for in her hands after the first update! Would absolutely book again for future trips!
Absolutely fantastic! Most highly recommend! Thoughtful, thorough, honest, incredible communicator. Loved of kitties. We are so thankful we did not have to worry while away.

One of the reasons I love cats is because they do what they want when they want to. With that knowledge, I follow their cues and go at their pace. However, if there is a situation where they need something (like medication) and they aren't cooperating, I know how to safely handle them. I will care for your cats like they are mine for the time you are away!

I like to know if your kitty has any favorite hiding places in case they disappear during a visit. I also like to know what may spook your cat so I can be prepared and help them stay calm and comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
I've got a favorite laser pointer and Cat Dancer wire toy that come with me to visit kitties. Of course, if your cats have a favorite toy, we'll play with it too!

Availability
I currently work full-time, so I can do morning and evening weekday drop ins. I have availability through out the weekend. I have a car, so I can visit kitties that may be a bit farther away.
