Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats and have 20 years of experience professionally walking them. I love spending time with furry friends! I can't wait for the day when I have dogs again! For now, I'd love to play with, cuddle and spoil yours! I do have a purrfect, lovable rescue kitty and I'd love to care for your kitties too! I grew up taking care of many different animals for neighbors, have fostered animals, volunteered at several animal shelters, and helped animals learn how to socialize with people so they have better chances of being adopted. I have experience with administering oral medicine to both dogs and cats, and am comfortable doing so when needed. I know how stressful it is to leave your buddies behind when you go out of town or spend all day at work. Rest assured they will be spoiled, cuddled, and well cared for with me!

Katie did a wonderful job taking care of our cats when we were out of town. Our cats immediately felt comfortable with her. She is very attentive to details. Our cats have dietary restrictions and she followed all the instructions on feeding them separately. The detailed updates and photos every day helped us not to be worried at all. We highly recommend Katie to anyone who wants the best care for their pets.

I ensure doors are locked and your home is just as you left it. If I go outside with your pet I will be sure to be with them and watch them the entire time.

I have no breed restrictions, but if your dog is heavier than 50 pounds and yanks at the leash when he sees a cat or other creature, I will let go of the leash for my own safety. I also ask that you tell me if your furry friend has any tendencies to resource guard or any anxieties regarding food or strangers. I want to make sure your animal is comfortable and safe while you are away. I do not walk or work with animals who have a bite history.
A typical day
When I drop-in on your pet, or walk your dog, I will be spending the entire time with your pet, not on my cell phone or watching TV. Animals need love and care when their humans are away! That is what I promise to deliver. Who doesn't love fetch (or keep away), tug-o-war, walks, and run-arounds at the park? Don't forget the massive amount of belly-rubs! I'd love to do all of this with your pets. Just let me know about their favorite activities and I'll make sure they enjoy themselves while I care for them. The first two dogs are $14 (together) per visit, every dog after that is an additional $2. $14 for 30 min walk/visit $22 for 45 min walk/visit $26 for 60 min walk/visit

After graduate school I started working online from home, and set my own hours—So I’m able to be completely flexible with a dog walking schedule. I take bookings from 10 am to 9 pm 7 days per week.
