Pet care experience
Dogs love me! I have had and cared for dogs since childhood even starting a pet sitting business in my hometown when I was in elementary school. A Harvard graduate I studied pre-veterinary medicine. On campus I cared for humans as an EMT but I also took a few courses in doggy CPR! Post Harvard I initially worked at Angell Animal Veterinary Hospital where my love and experience caring for dogs grew even stronger. Working in the pharmacy, emergency check in and front desk I met all types of dogs and humans alike! I no longer work with animals in my day to day as I now work in software sales, but I am the proud owner of a rabbit, parrot, cat, and black lab. An avid fetch lover and strong exercise enthusiast I will go for long walks and give very nice doggy cuddles.

My dogs loved hanging out with Katie. We have a small dog, Diego, who's a bit of of wild man, and a super older mellow mixed breed, who loves everyone. This is the first time we left our little dog with a house sitter and since he can be a bit skittish, I was a bit nervous about how things would go. But with Katie, he settled right down and seemed to have a great time, as the dogs were relaxed and tails wagging when we returned. Katie even drew a super cute portrait of our dogs while we were gone. I'd definitely book her again.
Katie did a phenomenal job taking care of our dog, Sam. From the first moment he met her – he was extremely comfortable with her – which is actually quite rare for sitters! Katie was exceedingly professional and most importantly – incredibly caring for a little guy and we would gladly hire her again. Highly recommended!
