Pet care experience
I have been watching/walking pets for neighbors since middle school. I am used to caring for breeds small and large, I especially love a mastiff :) I am happy to help walk, feed, train, and most importantly, love on your pets! Currently lead training our shelter pup, Lulu. I am also a big cat person, and having just lost my cat last January to cancer, recently adopted a senior of my own, Zora. I also have prior experience caring for senior pets, and administering different forms of medications.

This is our second time with Katie as our sitter. They are absolutely wonderful and our cat loves them. We are so happy that we have found someone we are so comfortable with and will try and book her again any time in the future we need to go out of town ☺️
This was my first time leaving my cats with someone other than my mother, so I was nervous to say the least. After the initial chat and walk through I felt comfortable with Katie. Katie provided detailed updates and tons of cute photos of playtime during the drop in visits. Will certainly have Katie watch them again when I need a sitter.
Katie is very patient with our two extremely shy cats and knows how to handle them in a gentle and approachable manner. They were able to get both cats to eat on their very first visit which has been impossible for any other cat sitter we have had. Our cats hide for their life from guests but Katie was able to get both cats to come out of hiding for pets on the first visit! I am very impressed and will absolutely be rebooking Katie for all my planned travel in the future.

When meeting new pets, I establish trust by not overstepping their boundaries, and letting them get to know me at their pace. As much as my job is to care for them, I need them first to know I am not a threat, and I am on their side!

I would like to know your pets comfort level interacting with other humans and other dogs, so I can prepare accordingly and avoid possible negative interactions on walks. I also need to know if your dog has any triggers, food aggression, etc
A typical day
I love taking pups to explore the neighborhoods, and I like to bring fun toys to try and play at home too. And most importantly, puppy snuggles :)

Availability
I currently only teach from 2-4 Monday through Friday, and want to make pet-care my main focus in the mornings and evenings. I am more than available for walks early morning, and hanging out in the evening while pet sitting.
