Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my bio and learn why I am the best person to take care of your best friend. My name is Katie and I'm an animal lover. I've always loved that a little bit of love and kindness can secure an animal's devotion for the rest of his/her life. They forgive easily and they make everyone around them smile. I have three horses and two cats. The cats' names are Montague and Cleo. The horses are Princeton, Apache, and Signature. They live in a barn at my house and I feed and clean up after them every day. Owning such large animals has taught me a lot of responsibility. Between the horses, cats, and other responsibilities, my family doesn't have the time to bring a dog into the family. Owning a dog is something I've always wanted. I've fulfilled this need by constantly walking and looking after my neighbors' dogs. I have helped train some of my neighbors' pets, so I have experience in potty and leash training for dogs. I really enjoy going on walks with dogs because it's always fun and helps relieve stress. I live right next to the Highline Canal which makes it very easy to go on long beautiful walks around lakes and fields. I've found myself with an abundance of free time this summer and I would like to spend that time outside in the sun surrounded by animals that I can play and interact with. I am applying for pet sitting and walking jobs because spending time with animals makes me happy. Animals bond to me easily and I am a very experienced, responsible and passionate sitter who isn't afraid to get dirty. You won't need to worry about me skipping out on my responsibilities because playing with animals is something I always enjoy doing. I have the experience to take care of any pet. I adore all different breeds of dogs, especially the ones with lots of energy I can run and mess around with. Whether it's a run through the neighborhood, a quick check-in, or an overnight sitting, these are activities I would be thrilled to do for you.
