Pet care experience
My name is Katie and I’m a nursing student at Palomar College trying to make some extra money. I’ve been a lifetime pet owner, dogs, cats, reptiles, ducks. My dog siblings are a 11 year old chihuahua and a three year old golden retriever. I have experience loving and caring for a wide variety of dogs and can adapt to your loved one needs. I live with my parents which makes it easy to be flexible and available. I love to exercise so I’m happy to walk or run with your dog. I understand that every pet has needs and boundaries and will respect your pet and home. I am reliable, responsible, adaptive, and a huge animal lover. I firmly believe every animal deserves safety, comfort, and love. Currently my work schedule is 5 days a week 6:30am-3pm (Four days in a row and two off) but other than that my schedule is pretty open and flexible. Let me know how I can help you and your pet.

Katie was awesome!! Very warm and caring. She sent regular communication and pictures, so I knew that Cookie was doing great while in her care.

Katie was awesome! We’ve used Rover several times to take our dogs to another persons house but never a house sitter. Katie had great reviews so we booked her and glad she did. She followed all our instructions and kept our dogs company! Will definitely use her again when needed.
Katie was super professional from the very beginning. She arrived at our meet and greet with a list of questions and took notes to ensure she provided our dog (and our home) the care we needed. She was flexible and and even helped by watching a friend’s dog with ours at our house when their dogsitter fell through so we could all enjoy our holiday vacation. She sent regular communication throughout her stay with pics of the pups to let us know they were all doing great. We would recommend Katie and will book her again in the future. Thanks Katie!

If the dog experiences separation anxiety. What little behavior quirks are helpful to know about the dog so I can adapt to your pet in the best way possible. I love all types of dogs! Please let me know your general location so I make sure I can commit to caring for your pet. This also helps me to be ready for any situation that may arise: -Tendencies on walks -Likes (i.e. favorite toy, belly rubs, runs, slow walks) -Dislikes (i.e being pet in certain places, other dogs/cats, cars, ect) -Special needs -Dietary restrictions -Allergies -Special commands
A typical day
I love exercise so I would love to run or walk with your dog. If they are comfortable with car rides I’d be happy to talk them to mission trails or local parks. Fetch is a great way to get dog to use their energy. I can feed, socialize, and cuddle with your pet.
