For my dogs at home or any that I have watched/walked, I normally am by their side more than they are by mine. When I watch others' animals I especially take the time to make sure my eye is on them to ensure they do not get into something they shouldn't be doing. If I am walking a dog and I see any other dog coming towards me, I always like to move to the other side to ensure no fights or strangers come up to the animal in my care. I do that because one of my own dogs at home hates strangers and it stresses her, so I like to keep that in mind when walking a dog as well. When it comes to attention for an animal in my care, they defiantly get it, because I like to talk to animals and do tricks with them because it is so cute how animals enjoy doing a good job or how excited they get to do something active. When feeding animals I try to make sure I am calm and if they have prescriptions like my older dog then I give them that before their meal. When putting food down I ask dogs to sit, or I will put their food in a designated spot such as their kennel if instructed to do so.
