Pet care experience
I'm a huge animal lover. I currently have two cats, so I'm looking for the chance to cuddle and walk some adorable pups! I grew up riding horses and always had dogs around me - I had a chihuahua mix and a blue heeler as a kid and they were my babies. I have also volunteered at the Dumb Friends League cleaning out the dog kennels and helping with training. I currently work full time M-F 7:30 - 4:30, but my availability after work and on week ends is very open. I definitely try to be flexible with scheduling and am willing to take walks on a moment's notice. I look forward to working with you and your pup! I am also comfortable watching other animals, as well! If you have cats, bunnies, horses, goats...I'm more than happy to look after them!

Katie was very prompt and always responsive when we communicated during her stay at our home. We have 3 very loving dogs ,but they do have a lot of energy! The dogs were well taken care of while we were gone. She updated us every day with photos. We highly recommended Katie!

I would like to know if your pup responds to commands and whether or not he or she has leash aggression. I had a heeler growing up who had leash aggression, so I know the drill - try to keep as much distance as possible from other dogs and/or people. Also, I would like to know if your dog has any fears (cars driving by startles them, sewer drains make them uneasy, etc.) that way we can avoid them and make this a happy experience.
A typical day
I live in Lowry near several walking paths and I am also a 10 minute drive from the Syracuse dog park. Depending on how active your dog is will depend on the kind of activities we do. I am not able to run anymore due to old sports injuries, but I am more than able to take your baby out for a nice long walk. I am also willing to take your dog to the dog park, if you prefer.
