Pet care experience
Ive been on rover since 2023, but have been pet sitting far longer than that! I'm that friend that gets asked to look after animals and I've always loved them, growing up around cats, dogs and even a bearded dragon. I have my own cat who I adore very much: five years old with mild cerebral hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome). Given that she can be high maintenance (to say the least) I'm quite well versed with difficult animals, my cat is also indoors so I'm very used to being quite aware of windows and doors being left open. I'm available for overnight stays but do need to make arrangements for my own cat to be looked after, so please enquire as soon as possible for those kinds of visits! I'll also happily check the mail, water your plants and take the bins out during these stays. I'm also fully independently insured from rover for extra peace of mind when I take care of your furry family. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask 🐾🥰

Katie is a lovely young lady who filled us with confidence from her first visit to meet the dogs.The dogs got on brilliantly with her from the word go.Wewere kept up to date on them with photos and messages and could see all 4 where happy and content which made us relaxed.Katie stayed at our home for 4 nights and most of the 5th day and left it clean and spotless when we returned.would highly recommend this young lady
Katie was a brilliant dog sitter. We met beforehand and went on a walk so she could get to know the dogs a bit better. She sent updates throughout the whole weekend and the dogs were clearly very happy with her. They were very well looked after. We will definitely be asking Katie to dog sit for future trips! Met Katie before hand lovely lady made sure she got all the relevant information about meals , if they liked any treats , how often to change litter boxes .. Kept me updated throughout visits will definitely be using her in the future.
Katie was amazing with my 3 cats on a drop in visits while me and my partner were away they were happy and well looked after and she kept me updated with plenty of photos I will definitely be using Katie again and I highly recommend

I very much follow the lead of what the owner prefers when meeting new animals. Be that an introduction outside first or for me to approach them with fuss and treats. I know every owner and animal is different so can work with whatever suits you whether you crate your animals, leave your back door open during the day or need a certain routine before leaving for walks. I'm happy to chat with you about what works!

A typical day
I love to spend time outdoors so will more than happily take your dog for a long walk for some stimulation and exercise. I'm also a big reader so any long stays can involve a lot of cuddles and downtime after our adventures!

Availability
I work remotely with every other Friday off and generous Christmas leave, and so have a very flexible schedule. I of course need to make sure my own cat has care but with enough notice can be flexible to what you need.
