I am a recent graduate from the Community, Environment, and Planning Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. I look forward to getting to know my new neighborhood through dog walks and house sitting! I have many years of experience caring for pets, as I have lived with cats, dogs, and other animals for the majority of my life. I am moving away from my family's goofy terrier mix and will miss taking care of her so much. I have taken care of dogs with diabetes and other health concerns, as well as more "unique" animals like chickens, gerbils, and bunnies. Katie was so nice and easy to work with! She sent me pictures of my pup and took her for walks and runs; my dog was relaxed and happy when I got home, which was a huge relief! Would definitely have Katie watch my dog again!
I've needed care for my elderly dog and new during COVID kitties. They aren't rambunctious but they let you know who's boss. Katie's calming presence is just magical with them all. She is dependable, responsible and on time, every time. Luna happily walks with Katie to her favorite park to sit under the shade trees. Katie even asked about aspects of sitting that I had overlooked, like keeping my long haired cat brushed to prevent hairballs. I'm so sorry she is moving to California, but if she ever comes back, she has a certain client waiting.
