Pet care experience
I am a veterinarian continuing my education at UNC. I have been working with pets for a long time and love taking care of pets and loving them as my own! I have medical training as a veterinarian, so you can rest assured that your dog or cat will be in great hands! I am very organized and great at following instructions - I want to take care of your pet exactly the way that you would, and make them feel as loved as I can while you are unable. If you have any questions feel free to reach out! I would love to open my home and heart to your pets! Pick ups after 7:45am on weekdays and 10am on weekends will have an extra fee. I will certainly work with your schedule as much as I can to accommodate you and your pup!

Our puppy loved staying with Katie! You could tell she really loves animals. She took him to the dog park daily, and sent update pictures multiple times a day. We knew Nash was having a great and safe time with her! Would definitely recommend!
Katie took good care of our fussy boy Ollie! We felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She, her husband and Max were very patient with Ollie, and because our dogs have had health issues in the past, her veterinary training is a big plus!
My dog had a great time and I got lots of pics and updates, along with a super easy drop off/pick up - will definitely be booking with Katie again!
Our pups, Fox and Chester, loved their week long stay with Katie. It was Chester's first time with a dog sitter and when we returned from our trip he and Fox were both happy healthy looking pups. Katie kept us frequently updated with photos and messages of how they were doing so we never worried. We felt safe leaving them with someone in a home, rather than in a kennel and we would definitely use her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!

We love to take dogs for walks, as we do not have a fenced yard. We also enjoy taking dogs to play in our neighborhood fenced dog park.
