Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Katie. I am a loving pet mother of 2 cats, 6 chickens and two beehives! I also have two Great Pyrenees that I often take care of. When I am not walking around in the garden in my overalls, I am an art teacher in Oklahoma City. I love animals and it is my first passion in life. I have always had a home filled with animals. I have experience taking care of almost any pet. Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice and rats are all animals that I took care of as a little girl. In college I was an animal caretaker for a pet store. My job was to make sure animals are treated humanely and adopted by loving parents. After college I traveled throughout New Zealand giving a helping hard to farmers with livestock. While I have a full time job, I am open to taking care of pets after my work or on weekends. I currently use Rover for my own loving pets and hope to now be assistance to others!

Katie was great! My pups loved her. She communicated with me, and sent me lots of pictures! Will definitely use her again.
Katie did a fantastic job caring for our cats, horse, goats, chickens, and duck while we were out of town. She sent pictures and a short write up for each visit. I enjoyed this tremendously as I knew our animals were being well cared for. She made sure each animal had fresh water/food and was present in the morning and evening. If you are looking for a compassionate sitter for your animal friends, Katie will exceed your expectations! I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. Next time I need a sitter, Katie is the first one I will be contacting.
Katie has loved animals since she was very young. She has always had a cat, bunny, gerbil, or mouse to care and love. These skills translate into dog sitting, as well. The care and affection a dog needs will be met under Katie's hawk-like eyes.
Katie is an absolute animal lover!!!! I've known her since childhood and she is an excellent animal caregiver. You can't go wrong with picking her as an animal caregiver/sitter.
