I have various experience both volunteer and work wise for animal rescues; including but not limited to: home inspections for potential adopters, fostering, doggie daycare, direct animal abuse rescue, animal sanctuary and wildlife rehabilitation. During these areas, I experienced all types of animals and dogs including high risk and possibly violent; so knowing how to deal with such dogs is something I am familiar with. I'm also experienced with medications if needed. I believe fur babies are part of the family, just like kids are, and should be treated as such, with lots of love and respect. I'm currently unable to host in my home, but hoping that may change soon. However I will treat your home and fur baby as good as if my own!

We are so thrilled with Katie and how the stay went. She loved our dogs (4 of them) and our chickens. I never had to worry about a thing even when the storm came through. We will be using her again for our next trip! Thank you again!
Katie was an absolute delight! She was not only great with our pets, but also a great housesitter. We came home to happy pets and a sparkling clean house. We will be booking with her for as long as she is willing to accept.
Katie was beyond amazing with our dog Diesel. She made him part of her life taking him on walks and car rides, he truly did not want to leave. We will be using her in the future. Highly recommend her for your dog sitting/walking needs.
Katie is a responsible, personable, nurturing animal caretaker. I have a special needs dog whom she boarded for a week, and he had a wonderful time with her, even with limited mobility. I'd trust her with any of my animals, as she's good with large and small, energetic or special needs creatures of all kinds.

Obviously need to know temperament and likes/dislikes ahead of time. I would also like to know how leash needed he/she is. On walks, of course, but if going on hikes or at a dog park, am I able to take him/her off of the leash ie will he/she come when called?
