Katie is an incredibly selfless person who has had a lifelong love for animals. She comes from a background in social work, which I believe also displays how she is a very responsible and caring human being. I really would trust her with anything, especially my own furry family members. I have known her for 12+ years and have been able to see how much animals mean to her. Her first loves being two of the cutest and kindest dogs, and now to loving her three hilarious cats. I remember after the unfortunate passing of her childhood dog best friend, Mustang, she came over to our house to hangout. We had two dogs of our own at the time, who loved Katie, and were so excited to see her. I remember us going out to the backyard that warm evening and the dogs following us. We were just running with them, hanging out with them in the grass, and taking pictures. I have one picture of Katie and our dog, Shady. Just before that picture, she hugged Shady and said something about missing her pal Mustang, and how much she needed this. I saw her give my doggies the same hugs, the same pets, and that same love that she had always been able to also give to her whole world, Mustang. These days, a Mustang pawprint sits on her leg in tattoo form, to remind her also of the love he gave to her. A visualization of his impact on her life. And now there's Tucker, her new dog best friend who has been with her for 10 years. They've been there for each other through thick and thin, too. Katie also now is able to give this strong love to three expressive cats! I fully believe she would give the exact same love and be able to create this special bond with any animal she comes by. I would fully trust her with my furry pals, that she would put their needs first and can be assured they connect with her and love their time with Katie. Her animal family is everything to her and knows that other people feel the same.
