Hello! My name is Katie. I have a 4-year degree in Zoology, and several years of experience in caring for exotic animals. I currently work with penguins and puffins at Georgia Aquarium as a full-time career and have a strong background in animal behavior with an emphasis on positive reinforcement. I sit dogs, cats, fish, birds, small mammals and reptiles. I understand the time that goes into providing a home full of love and attention for a pet. Your beloved family member will have an enriching experience with me as a sitter! I am available almost always via email and text, and have a fast response time within a day. I like to do meet and greets to connect with the owner and pet before committing to a sitting job. ***Please note! My availability may depend on my work schedule, and I may be away for up to 10 hours at a time. I’m usually away from ~6am to ~4pm Wed-Sun. This means that I unfortunately will generally not be able to let animals out/go for walks during the middle of the day if I’m scheduled to work.
