I have taken care of dogs, walked dogs, and boarded dogs for friends and family for years. I genuinely think the best form of therapy can be spending time with pets! Because I don’t have one of my own yet, I love to get my fix by walking and taking care of others’ pets.

I have a nice open front yard, but a small back yard, and it’s not fenced. It’s not ideal for housing dogs, so generally I do so in others’ homes. My neighborhood is quiet, safe, and great for walking. I’m any given day there are many many dog walkers and people/families just out getting some sun, peace, and a good view of the mountains.

If there is anything important for me to know about things they love to do, or hate, or are afraid of, that’s what I’m interested in knowing ahead of time! I’d like to tailor our time together to that specific pet, rather than a set routine that just repeats.
A typical day
I’m a former gymnast and gymnastics coach, so I love being active! I enjoy taking long walks, and playing with dogs in the parks nearby. It’s so important for them to get exercise, so most of what I do will be outside where there is space for them to stretch, relax and smell!

I work full-time, but on a hybrid office schedule. So I go in about 2-3 times a week. I am available to walk dogs in the morning between 7-9am, and after 7pm
