Pet care experience
I’ve loved all animals since I was born. Over the years I’ve cared for many different breads of dogs and cats. We rescued our first dog Bailey Beagle) from Cyprus when he was 3 then I helped raise our current dog (family dog, does not live with me) Lenny from 10 weeks (Labrador). After that I looked after a 4 month old Rottweiler before he traveled to Portugal. I work from home the majority of the week and my colleagues all also have dogs making it acceptable for me to go out on walks etc. Each year I organise a dog walking event for the charity I work for which is small but very successful with 25 dogs raising nearly £4,000! I work from home 4 days of the week. Currently I am only in the office on Tuesdays and if that was to change I would have at least a weeks notice. My hours are 9:30-6 with an hour lunch break at 1 but these times are flexible to suit my needs. I live in a spacious ground floor flat with my partner. We’re share communal gardens with the rest of our block (6 flats all together) with our own little private gardens. My partner and I would love to have a dog of our own one day so this is great practice for us. The pets we look after will never be ignored or shut away, my space is their space and they will get plenty of attention.
Reviews
Our cavapoo Molly absolutely loved Katie - she clearly had such a great time. You can tell Katie is amazing with dogs! She kept us updated with some photos during the day and took great care of Molly.
Katie was amazing with our puppy who had just had surgery. So caring and great communication. Would absolutely use again!
Thank you Katie for looking after Blue for the day. Yet again, so accommodating and provides updates through the day. Highly recommend. Very safe set of hands for your fur babies!
Sooty was not on her best behaviour during her stay but Katie did a great job looking after and keeping her safe. Katie was very friendly and had really good communication. Would recommend and have her look after Sooty again if she wanted to.

I have a large communal garden and a field/park nearby so your pet will be able to have plenty of time outside. Our flat is ground floor and pet friendly. - The flat is wooden floor throughout making it easier to clean up any mess.

Information katie i. would like to know about your pet
Let me know how active your dog is. How often they need walking/for how long. I understand some dogs don’t like to go for long walks. Also what type of activities do they enjoy for example are they more relaxed. Also how often do they need feeding. Will they let you know if they need to go to the toilet? Is their certain foods they love or can’t have. Can they have treats?
A typical day
I love walking! I will typically go for a walk in either the morning or evening or both especially if the weather is nice. My partner and I love to spend time in the park throwing or kicking a ball around and our friends join sometimes too. I have lots of green space nearby including Tooting Common. They will get lots of cuddles and play time, especially once I’ve finished work during the week.

I have plenty of time for pet care as I work from home 4/5 days of the week. Most of my team also have dogs of their own so they understand that I will need to take breaks for toilet breaks/feeds. My hours and lunch are flexible so I can work my hours around your pets needs. I enjoy regular walks and exercise so your pets will also get plenty of exercise in.
