Pet care experience
I have always had a dog growing up and have one of my own now! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. However, I’ve had my own fur baby since she was a puppy so I know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Registered Nurse, love animals, and would love to get to know your family.

Katie is an amazing person and dog sitter. Our two dogs love her very much. They know when she’s coming even before she open the door. We have Katie for over two months now, and we love how she care about our dogs. Our dogs have so much energy but she has so much patience and every time after she visit our lovely dogs, they learned something. She knows what to do. Finding somebody who can help a rescued cat feel at home and comfortable as always difficult. But Katie was able to get our very cautious cats to be very warm and friendly! Stuck to instructions and kept the safety/privacy of our home as a top priority. I highly recommend her for your pet!

No breed preferences. I just wanna know that your fur baby will get along with mine. I love them all, small, medium, large, cats, and dogs.
A typical day
We will go on walks, sometimes hikes, bike rides, or roller blading if your fur baby is not intimidated by those, or we can work on an agility course with my own fur baby! We have puzzles for your puppy and can play traditional games like fetch and tug a war.

Availability
I am a Registered Nurse and work 12 hour shifts, so the days I have blocked off are because I’m at work. If your pup can go 12.5 hours on their own, I’m happy to take care of them still that day. I only work 2 days a week so my schedule is pretty open! And almost always have weekends and holidays off. I just ask that if you request me to house-sit, please understand and expect me to have to bring my own fur baby as well-it’s just the two of us. She’s a good girl, gets along with just about everyone, and we would love to do a meet up to make sure everyone gets along.
