Update 07/2018: I recently opened a retail business 2 miles from home. Any animals in our care would be unsupervised from 11am-3pm Tuesday-Friday due to work schedules. Saturday-Monday animals would have very limited time unsupervised while running errands. I love dogs! I have two labs as well as an adorable mixed breed. My husband owns a few reptiles and is available to assist with any reptile needs you may have while away. Please note that ALL of our reptiles are safely locked in the guest bedroom and away from view/reach of any animals boarded in my home. I know that when I am away from home, it is important to me that my girls stick to their routine to avoid anxiety. I am happy to work with you to help maintain your pets routine as well. My home is well suited to senior dogs- one step in and out of the back door and no steps inside. PLEASE feel free to send me a message if you have questions or concerns. I am happy to work with you! Don't think that your situation won't work and be afraid to ask. I have turned clients away when I don't think it's safe for the dog to be in my home, but more often than not, I can easily accommodate your needs. I will board intact animals, just please note I will not board your dog during a heat cycle, and I will not board more than one intact pet at a time. I can accommodate food aggressive dogs. If you have a different situation, please ask me about it! My family loves animals, and we want to help you keep your pet out of a traditional kennel situation.
