Pet care experience
I'm an absolute dog lover! I truly believe dogs are the best friends you can have. Needless to say, I treat my dogs like family. We have a big lab/shepherd mix and a wiener dog who rule the house. Our larger dog is very anxious and isn't dog-friendly so I have a lot of experience with dogs who may have some quirks! For this reason I'm only available for house sitting, drop-ins, or walks.

Katie was great with Rosie. She was flexible on drop off and pick up times. Katie gave us a few updates while we were traveling, which was nice. Rosie was seemed nice and happy (and worn out in a good way) when we picked her up. We will certainly use katie again in the future.
Katie was super flexible with our schedule and helped me make sure Walter was well taken care of. We'd definitely have her walk him for us again!
Katie was fantastic! She is very reliable and responsive. Took great care of my dog Charlie. I will certainly ask Katie to dog sit for me again.
Katie was awesome! She responded quickly to our request and was very kind and professional. I had complete confidence leaving my sweet pup under her care just by her attention to detail in her timely responses alone! During my pup's stay, Katie would send us texts every few hours to give us an update as to how he was doing, which was great since my dog is not used to staying with new friends. I was truly impressed with the care she and her pup Petey gave. I will be requesting her again next time we are in town!

I always make sure to be the dog's leader and care for him/her as if they were my own and always provide a safe environment for them. I'm able to accommodate any special instructions for your pet. I have a lot of experience with dog-aggressive pets as my rescue has had to do a ton of work in that area.

I'm here to make taking care of your dog as easy and stress-free as possible. Anything you think i should know, please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate it! Any and all breeds are welcome. I'm happy to administer any medications or monitor special diet restrictions. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
A typical day
I like to go on walks in downtown Durham or to the park for some off-leash running if your dog is okay with other dogs. For drop ins, I will make sure to give them extra attention, food if needed, and a quick run around the block for a potty break.

Availability
I work weekdays from 9-4 and I'm fully available on weekends. I would be able to watch your dog outside of those hours. I'm unfortunately not available to drop in mid-day for a lunch-time potty break.
