Hey! My name is Katie and I am a sophomore at the University of Georgia working toward a career in veterinary medicine. I work as a part time veterinary assistant in Athens, Ga as well as a part time employee at Chickfila, but I still try to get as much experience around animals as I can to help me into my dream career! Here is a bit about me: I have two pets of my own, a couple of rambunctious kitties named Blondie and Magpie. I have done little pet sitting jobs for neighbors and family members for most of my life, which included walking, staying with pets for hours at a time or overnight at the owner's house, and aiding in potty training/teaching dogs how to use dog doors. If your dog likes to go on runs or walks, I'm more than willing to run right along with them! I can also aid in some household cleaning if desired. I've cared for many different types of animals ranging from small birds, to reptiles, to rodents, and of course dogs and cats! I also have experience with many different breeds and sizes of dogs, and do not discriminate against dogs considered to be "dangerous". I have my own car and live in an apartment in Athens, Ga near the University of Georgia campus. My hours are hectic right now because of school and already working two other jobs, but I can definitely be flexible especially if you live close by!
