Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Katie and I absolutely love all animals! I'm an experienced cat care volunteer at a local rescue shelter, and I'm looking to make new dog friends in the neighborhood. I grew up with two small dogs and miss playing with goofballs like them. I have walked and cared for many of my friends' dogs as well as several regular clients in the past, especially before moving to NYC a couple years ago. I have two cats of my own, Loafy and Halla, and I also regularly foster kittens at home. I have a lot of experience medicating and caring for vulnerable animals, not to mention cleaning after the biggest messes! Whatever you and your dog’s needs are, don’t hesitate to reach out!

A typical day
I think that letting dogs smell around and explore their environment is super important for their well-being! And Central Park is a great place to let that happen safely in the city. I will spend lots of quality time with your friend, giving treats (appropriate amount & type) and playing games during our walk.

Availability
I work from home (except for some Wednesdays), right by Central Park South. Super convenient for a refreshing walk in the park! I can generally be flexible during the day on weekdays, but may have limitations during evenings and weekends, depending on the week. Happy to discuss schedules and availability ahead of time to find something that works for us!
