I booked with Katie based her excellent reviews and unfortunately, didn’t have same experience as others. We were on vacation 11 days. I had some real concerns about how lethargic my dog was upon our return. Plus concern of paw infection he came home with. Visit to Vet confirmed he lost 15 lbs and has a paw fungus infection. Most likely from spending a lot of time in muddy yard conditions. Dr prescribed antibiotics, has him on feeding schedule to bring his weight up. Dr said possibly stress but hard to say exactly what caused extreme weight loss. Katie said he ate every meal. I think not enough rest time, or no boundaries with excessive play, resulting in exhaustion and stress. Harley is an inside Golden Retriever. Obviously dogs plays some outside. But I think he spent the majority outside while under Katie’s care. Appears a lot unsupervised… he licked his paws sores and she never even noticed infection. Broke my heart. Harley came home looking like a stray dog. Extremely thin, matted, filthy dirty. Katie did tell me the day we left her yard was muddy. Didn’t realize what problems it would cause, that he would remain dirty for long period. Or that he would have unnoticed sores. Not worthy of her 5 star rating. I have sad pictures of dog to support. Copies of current and prior Vet visits. (Prior)for Bordetella a couple days before we left showing prior weight.I hate having to give this review. But my honest feelings.

Katie was wonderful! Watson did great in her home and I felt safe knowing that he was safe! I fully recommend!
