Pet care experience
I have always grown up around lots of animals! I am from Ireland and my Dad is a farmer and my sister is a vet, so I am very used to handling animals of all sizes!

Katie was very easy to plan with, as she was both flexible and quick to answer. During Hera's stay, Katie sent images and updates on what they were doing, meaning we didn't have to worry about how it was going and whether Hera was able to adjust to a new environment. Hera seemed to have a great time, and was properly tired when she got home! We'll definitely talk to Katie the next time we need someone to care for Hera.
Katie and her roommates were SOOOO sweet with my very large, energetic dog. I think he had an amazing time. She was more than generous and so nice to communicate with. We had such an amazing experience, and I felt like Norman was in incredible hands.

I am happy to oblige the owner in caring for the animal in whatever way they would like! I love to walk frequently so would be happy to walk on a lead. I also love to go for runs and love company from any dogs that are able to come with me and drag me along! I understand the importance of a regular feeding schedule and frequent toilet breaks. As I mentioned there are three of us living together so we walk lots!

I have no preference between large or small breeds of dogs. I have had experience taking care of both with my background. I always like to know whether a dog is vocal or not. Our neighbours are very understanding of a little bit of barking but I would like to know in advance. Also, if a dog has seperation anxiety - it usually isn't a problem because I am home most of the time but can be an issue if we have to leave the dog alone for 2-3 hours. Finally, it's important for me to know whether your dog is house trained.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. There is a lovely dog friendly pond a 2 minute walk from our apartment and also a dog friendly park that I visit frequently. My friends and I loveee to hike on the weekends - we usually go somewhere close by so that is not too long of a drive. We also love outdoor activities, BBQ's, tennis and picnics so we always enjoy the extra company from the dogs we are sitting!

Availability
I am currently working full-time from home. I have also two other female roommates who also working from home during the week. We can guarantee that any dog/cat we babysit will always have plenty of company, cuddles and walks throughout the day! My roommates and I love to walk/run so we go for our regular coffee run in the morning which is always much better with a dog to keep us company!
