Pet care experience
Growing up in Sacramento, I was the go-to person in my neighborhood to take care of my neighbors pets from the time I was 8 years old up until I moved down to Santa Barbara to go to UCSB. Because of this, I have experience working with nearly every type of animal ranging from dogs and cats all the way to goats and rabbits. I am confident I can ensure your animals will be safe with me and I will strive to give them the best care possible.

Katie was great! I was nervous my first time using Rover as my cat typically doesn’t like strangers. But she warmed up really quickly to Katie! It was great getting picture updates throughout my trip. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Katie for any future pet sitting needs!

I have worked with both cats and dogs extensively since I have 3 cats and 2 dogs at my parent’s house as well as one kitten here with me in Santa Barbara. In addition, I’ve worked with every age and temperament of both cats and dogs, which will allow me to have a general idea of what to expect from your animals. One of my own dogs at my parents’ house has special needs (megaesophagus and myasthenia gravis) so I have worked with her in administering oral medication and feeding her in her special chair. Because of this experience I am able to help some dogs with special needs, if needed. I’m comfortable crating and feeding animals and doing whatever you need me to in order to make you and your animals feel safe with me taking care of them!

I’d love to know prior to meeting your furry baby if they have any special needs or reactivity/temperament issues. It’s not a problem for me if I’ll need to do a slow introduction, but I would like to be prepared beforehand!
A typical day
Depending on what your dog enjoys, I’d love to take them to a park or on a hike or even just play with them using their favorite toy! I adapt my care to each individual animal so you both get the most out of my services. :)
